Program Events
UBC Family Practice Program Information Event (PIE)

Event Description:
The UBC Family Practice Residency Program invites interested applicants to our Virtual Open House event! This event is comprised of a webinar where we provide an overview of our Program and what sets us apart, followed by opportunities for applicants to get to know more about the individual training sites.
With 23 Training Sites across British Columbia, we understand it can be challenging to explore/compare all of them in a meaningful way. Our hope is that prospective applicants to our Program will leave this virtual event with a better understanding of what Site(s) are the best fit for them – you may even emerge with a new consideration of Sites you hadn’t initially considered!

Site Q&As
Each training site will host resident-led virtual Site Q&A sessions where you will get to meet with the Site Director and current residents to learn in-depth about what the site has to offer. Site Q&As dates TBD.

Interview Dates
UBC Family Medicine will hold live, synchronous Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) between January 18- February 1, 2025.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend one virtual interview regardless of the number of sites they apply to.
Please note that interviews are mandatory.
